Are you arriving on Sunday and want to meet your peers before NetSci? Join your fellow early-career researchers at Peercolation to break the ice!
Peercolation is a casual social event designed to help early-career researchers connect and unwind before the conference kicks off.
Oh, you’re not young early-career anymore? No worries, we don’t check IDs! We welcome all researchers who want to meet new people and share ideas.
The event is open-ended, so feel free to drop by anytime after 6:00 PM. We’ll be gathering at Stadspark in Maastricht, a lovely park easy to reach from the city center, and will be moving around, so please join our WhatsApp group to stay updated on our exact location.
It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, share ideas, and get into the NetSci spirit!
The name “Peercolation” is a playful combination of “peer” and “percolation,” reflecting the idea of early-career researchers connecting (or “percolating”, if you will) with each other - just like nodes in a network do as they form connections and create larger communities!
