Location
University of Auckland (New Zealand)

Hi NetPals, NetPlace is coming to NetSciX 2026 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. We will organize a panel discussion on Beyond Isolation: Getting Connected in Network Science on February 17, 2026, starting from 17:30 local time.

The discussion will focus on the forms of isolation that young as well as senior researchers may face, including geographic, cultural, financial, and institutional barriers, and will aim to offer practical ways to reduce isolation, as well as a networking opportunity for participants.

We are thrilled to have Akrati Saxena, Roland Molontay and Natalia Albert Llorente as our panelists, who will share their personal experience insights regarding the isolation and possible solutions.

All NetSciX 2026 participants are welcomed and we can’t wait to see you there!
