"Redefining scientific communication: from the scientific community to the society"
As researchers, sharing our research is fundamental. This should happen not only between our closest scientific links, but it must also involve speaking with the general scientific community, from policymakers to the whole society. That's also why we're participating in NetSciX! Join us as we discuss the importance of effective research sharing, explore innovative methods beyond traditional formats, and consider diverse platforms like social media and blogs. Your contribution and insight would be invaluable in this conversation!
Hot questions:
How important is it that we communicate our research? Is communication key to academic success in your experience?
What would you change in the way we share our research in traditional formats during conferences? Are there more impactful alternatives?
How to introduce your research to people outside your field?
How can we make scientific research more accessible to non-academic audiences, from society to policymakers?
Apart from conferences, can other means of communication, from blogs to Twitter, be effective tools to share our research?
We have our own conferences, we all follow each other on Twitter… How do we avoid creating an echo chamber?
